IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s most widely recognised English proficiency test. As one of the co-owners of IELTS, no one is better positioned to help you get the grades you need. 
 
The course is geared towards the Academic Module. If you are interested in General Training, please inform us at the time of registering. The teacher will cater for you, and provide you with guidance and activities.
 

Prepare with the world’s English experts, and you will:

  • have an expert teacher who knows all about the IELTS test
  • receive feedback on your strengths and areas to improve by doing IELTS practice tasks
  • feel more confident on the day of your test.

When should I book my IELTS test in relation to this course?

In order to have more time to study and practise further what you learn on our course, we advise you to book your IELTS test one or two weeks after the end of your course. 

In the case of intensive courses, if you see that your Speaking test has been scheduled for a day when you are still attending lessons, please try and change it by writing to ielts@britishcouncil.fr and also let your teacher know. Please note that while there is not guarantee that we can move the dates, our team will try their best to help you.

Required score from Higher Education Institute

Please note that Higher Education Institutes have specific demands for the IELTS score so you should contact them directly to know the required score for the course you are applying to.

Please note that normally the score demanded is between 6.5 and 8 (B2 - C1)
