The London-based artist’s practice embraces mediums as varied as sculpture, drawing, film, and writing. Playing a crucial role in feminist art history, her work addresses issues such as domestic and structural violence, poverty, and a constellation of so-called "negative" affects that are confronted rather than evaded or repressed: grief, anger, trauma, shame, despair, addiction, terror, and so forth, often approached through humour, seduction, and feigned naivety.
