Bannière Talks in English
Date
Thursday 25 April 2024 - 19.00
Location
British Council

We are delighted to welcome Romik Arconian, owner of Château Canon Chaigneau, who will talk about the transition from being a wine merchant in Paris to becoming a producer in Bordeaux.

He will talk about the acquisition, not without its challenges, as it coincided with Covid times, and then more generally about the vineyard, the terroir, the appellation, the wines, winemaker, how all this affects the wine, and its identification.

It will be followed by a short Q&A

What are "Talks in English"?

Our "Talks in English" series is organized as part of our Teaching Centre activities  and is open to all free of charge, upon registration and within the limits of available places.

We offer monthly Talks in English on different themes, given by our teachers and  external speakers. Information about the upcoming events will be available on our website and social media networks.

We also offer refreshments at the end of the conference to allow participants to practice their English
