The British Council is a partner of the 2024 Festival d'Automne for the presentation of three productions:
From Sea to Sky
LIMINAL, Forensic Oceanography, Border Forensics
5 October - 3 November, au Centquatre
Showcasing various works by the collectives Liminal, Forensic Oceanography, and Border Forensics, the multimedia installation From Sea to Sky addresses intersectional immobilities and border violence at sea. The aim is to shed light on how the Mediterranean maritime space has been transformed into a militarised border zone.
The Making of Pinocchio
Rosana Cade et Ivor MacAskill
22-30 November, MC93 · Maison de la Culture de Seine-Saint-Denis Bobigny
Real-life couple Rosana Cade and Ivor MacAskill share their love story and Ivor's gender transition through the figure of Pinocchio, the puppet who longs to become a real boy. Blending theatre and installation, this intimate and political performance is tenderly inventive.

Signal to Noise
Forced Entertainment
27-30 November, Centre Pompidou
The company led by Tim Etchells celebrates forty years of existence and continues to innovate. Immersed in a wavering virtual reality, six actors find themselves stripped of their voices and identities. It’s utterly disorienting. Welcome to this new world.
