We are looking for sponsors to support young emerging talents.

With the support of the British Ambassador, the British Council in France is running the Paris Young Gifted Pianist Competition. Every year, we search for the most gifted young pianists in schools across Paris and its region offering them the chance to demonstrate their extraordinary talents and learn from an internationally acclaimed Franco-British pianist and the current Steinway Ambassador for France Min-Jung Kym (biography below).

Young students at the beginning of their career need every opportunity to meet and learn from accomplished professionals. The experience that a Masterclass brings can be a game changer for these young musicians who one day might become internationally renowned pianists in their own right, conductors, members of a national orchestra or music teachers. This Masterclass will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

We ask schools to recommend their most talented 16-18 year old students. The finalists are then invited to play at the Ambassador’s residence and benefit from a one-to-one Masterclass with Min-Jung Kym.

Please contact us, if you as a company or a private individual, would be willing to support this important work.
